What do you actually do in the URL Check?
We load your app the way a visitor does, find the address of its database the way any browser can, and ask which tables answer someone who isn't signed in. We record names, counts and a masked shape — never the data.
Is this an audit? Will I get a certificate?
No. It's a point-in-time review based on what we can see and what you give us. It doesn't certify anything, and we don't use those words on purpose.
Who does the work?
Certified architects and developers, all with years of IT architecture, identity and security behind the practice. AI helps collect and organize; but a human member of our team reads, judges, prvides a walkthrough of the results, and signs the report.
Do I have to give you access to my code?
Yes — read-only, and we set it up together on the Read-In. You make every grant yourself, on your own screen; we never ask for a password and never type on your machine. You can revoke it the day we deliver, and we purge our records of your materials once the work is complete.
Why is the URL Check free?
Because it costs us almost nothing to run and it tells you something true. Most people who run it want the rest.
You review it and you sell the fixes. Isn't that a conflict?
It could be, so we handle it in the open: the fix list is written so any developer can act on it, the severity scale is defined in the engagement letter, and your Check fee is credited if you choose us — so choosing us costs nothing extra, and not choosing us costs nothing at all.
